America alone generates about 11.3 million tons (~22.6 billion pounds) of textile waste annually, much of which goes straight to landfills.
Only about 13% to 15% of all textile waste is recycled or reused, leaving the rest to be buried or burned.
With PhartClothes, 100% of textiles are either reused or recycled. Donations of all sizes go towards fighting the problem at its source.
